Biography

Raquel Aguirre’s journey started in the vibrant border city of El Paso-Juarez, where her passion for connecting communities began. A standout student, she graduated as valedictorian from Universidad de las Americas, A.C. in Mexico City in 2013. Always eager to push boundaries, she earned a Master’s degree in Tax Law with honors from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2016. Raquel’s career took off as an advocate for the human right to access information while working for Mexico’s Federal Government. Inspired to expand her horizons, she crossed borders—literally and figuratively—to embark on a second legal career in the United States. By 2017, she had added a Master’s in Comparative and International Law from Southern Methodist University to her impressive resume. Since 2018, Raquel has made her mark in the Law, working tirelessly to support Hispanic communities in Dallas and El Paso. Whether volunteering her time with local organizations or offering free legal advice and pro bono work, Raquel’s dedication to serving others knows no bounds. Licensed in Texas and on her way to earning her New Mexico license, Raquel is all about creating pathways to justice for her clients. When she’s not in the courtroom or community, you can find Raquel exploring hidden gem coffee shops, savoring sweet treats at bakeries, or catching live comedy shows and concerts. A self-proclaimed fitness enthusiast, she makes exercising exciting with boxing, Muay Thai, and weightlifting. Raquel’s story is one of determination, connection, and a little spice—just like her favorite hometown flavors.
